Albion House - doing the simple things well

Please take a look at our revamped food and drink section. We have spent a great deal of time expanding our wine lists, and Liam still makes the best cocktails in Thanet. Most excitingly, Stephen, our head chef, has created our super menu for all palates, responding to a brief of using fresh ingredients and delivering delicious dishes.

So, we’d love to see you and show you what we have been up to. Come and see a recognisable face in a revamped environment with a resurgent push to be better and better.

Built in 1791, the history of Albion House Hotel Ramsgate is rich and colourful.

As you would expect from a house which entertained royalty, politicians, actors and the wealthy, Albion House, Ramsgate sits in pride of place on top of the East cliff.

Looking out over Albion Gardens and out to sea there are stunning views of the Royal Harbour – the only one in the country. The harbour was given its status of ‘Royal Harbour’ by King George IV as a gift for the hospitality he received when visiting Ramsgate in 1820.

High speed train taking 76 minutes from Kings Cross St Pancras. The M2 and M20 are both excellent motorways and driving from north London can take as little as 90 minutes. There are great connections with Europe from Folkestone and Ashford.
